例文

計画は力なり、計画を立てないと失敗するよ

努力は、裏切らない、努力すればするほど、運が味方する

例文

A:上級管理職に昇進してラッキーですね。
B: 努力は裏切らないって言うでしょ?

触らぬ神に祟りなし、まだ壊れていないものを治すな

例文

 必要は発明の母、窮すれば通ず. 人は必要に迫られて様々な工夫を凝らして発明をする

例文

B:Necessity is mother of invention
どうやってトイレの故障を直したの?
必要は発明の母ってね。

7:If you snooze, you lose.
チャンスの神様は前髪しかない、うっかりしてると好機を逃す

例文
If you want to buy this house, you'd better make an offer now.
 In this hot real state market, if you snooz, you lose.
この家を購入したいのなら、今すぐ申し出たほうがいいですよ。
この過熱気味の不動産市場では、ボーとしてるとチャンスを逃しますから。

8.Don't bite off more than you can chew.
出来ないことはするな、できないことまでかかえると二進も三進も行かなくなるぞ

例文
He is exhausted from working two jobs.
It's  clear that he is biting off more than he can chew.

彼は2つの仕事に疲れ果てている。できないことをしているは明らかだ。
